Object Therapy

Three Daughters
Alison’s father had three daughters, so did his bag. This gladstone bag has been deconstructed and reconfigured into three seperate objects. Like their human counterparts they are a mixture of genetic heritage; some familiar, some new. Three Daughters pays homage to the marks of history and evidence of adventure and tells a story of family through materials and form. For Object Therapy / Hotel Hotel.
"This bag has great sentimental value. When I think of my Dad as a young man (he is now 89) I think how smart he looked with his travel satchel. We found it recently in the corner of his garage."

One piece shoe

We thoroughly tested the design of a one-piece paper shoe with the Transistion class at Ross Park Primary today. So many wonderful designs!
